Helping leaders and teams navigate complexity, pressure, and change.
I work with people when life interrupts their map — through layoff, illness, rupture, or identity loss.
Hi, I’m Nicole. I’m an executive coach and leadership advisor, and I’ve spent many years working inside large tech organizations. I support leaders when roles shift, pressure rises, or the old ways of working stop working.
WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN COMPLEX SITUATIONS.
My Philosophy:
Before good work is possible, people need orientation.
And sometimes orientation comes before clarity.
And sometimes work isn’t the point yet.
Working with people when certainty disappears
How I work
When familiar structures fall away — through transition, role change, or sustained pressure — clarity can’t be forced.
I work alongside leaders and teams in moments when orientation is disrupted and the usual ways of making sense no longer work.
My work is relational and reflective. It focuses on understanding what’s actually happening beneath the surface — between people, roles, expectations, and inner responses — and creating the conditions for decisions that are grounded and sustainable.
I don’t offer quick fixes. I offer space, structure, and partnership when complexity, uncertainty, or disruption require a slower, more honest way of working.
Selected Cases.
Work
The work below reflects situations where leaders and teams were navigating change, complexity, or uncertainty. Each case highlights the context, the dynamics involved, and the shifts that became possible through reflective, relational work.
Leadership and Transition
Stepping into Leadership
Supporting orientation, clarity, and trust in a period of transition.
Team Dynamics and Trust
Rebuilding Trust in a Team
Working with unspoken dynamics and shifting expectations.
Advisory And Coaching Partnership
Long-Term Partnership
A steady thinking partner.
Ambiguity, expectations, identity
Stepping Up
Evolving scope, unclear authority, and quiet pressure.
No fluff. No guesswork.
Process
Whether you’re stepping into a new role, navigating change, or carrying growing responsibility, this is how the work typically unfolds.
1. Discovery & Define
We quickly establish context: role, scope, pressures, and decision constraints. Through focused questions and observation, we clarify what matters most and where attention will have the greatest impact.
This creates a clear starting point for the work.
2. Structure & Strategy
Once oriented, we organize what’s in play. We identify patterns, dependencies, and tensions, and define a workable focus for the next phase. This is where complexity is reduced into something actionable.
The goal is direction that supports sound decisions.
3. Reflect & adjust
As situations evolve, we test assumptions, review decisions, and adjust course. This phase is practical and grounded in real events — not abstract reflection.
The emphasis is on maintaining clarity and coherence under changing conditions.
4. continuity & Support
Where needed, the work continues as an ongoing advisory or coaching partnership. This provides continuity as responsibilities shift, new challenges emerge, or earlier decisions need revisiting.
Support is available when it adds value — not by default.
1. Discovery & Define
We establish context quickly: role, scope, current pressures, and decision constraints. I ask focused questions to surface what actually matters and where clarity will have the greatest impact.
2. Structure & Strategy
We translate complexity into a clear structure — identifying priorities, constraints, and practical next steps that support sound decisions.
3. Design & Iterate
This is where insights are applied in practice. We test assumptions against real situations, review decisions as they unfold, and adjust direction where needed — keeping the work grounded in what’s actually happening.
4. Launch & Support
Where useful, the work continues beyond an initial phase. I remain available as a thinking partner as situations evolve, new challenges arise, or earlier decisions need revisiting.
